Eric Bellamy is the president of Bridgewater Stay-Focused Mentor Program, a non-profit mentoring program for student athletes from junior high school through college. Eric is also the Owner and General Manager, (KK Berane Bobcats) Second Division European Organization in Montenegro. Mr. Bellamy played college basketball after receiving the McDonalds All American High School nomination in 1989. He also won the Paul Naismith for best Academic/athletic achievement Award in high school. After high school, he attended SJCC and won two conference championships, graduated with a 3.5 GPA and a record high of 11 basketball scholarship offers. He was named Street and Smith's magazine top ten recruits in 1991. Eric decided to attend Boise State University and went on to win 2 Conference Championships and back-to-back NCAA bids. Eric Graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelors degree in Communication in 1993. Although a knee injury kept him from going on to play professional basketball.Eric has coached at a high leveland continued to train at a high level.Eric currently competes as a triathlete. Eric’s passion for the game of basketball combined with self discipline and training have thoroughly prepared him to provide the proper guidance needed for those who may experience challenges while in pursuit ofathletic and educational goals. As a former student athlete, Eric fully understands the need to encourage young athletes to continue to follow their dreams and believes that "Jesus gives every child a gift". The Bridgewater-Stay Focused Mentor Program intends to assist youth who are in need to reach his or her full potential.
