Hasan A. Ahad

Hasan A. Ahad formerly known as "Manny Casey" is a former International Professional Basketball player. While playing in Taiwan Hasan led his team,"Bank of Taipei" to a Championship. As a point-guard, he was 3rd in the league in scoring and 2nd in assist. Hasan also played in Mexico, Lebanon and Iran. In the States, he played in the L.A. Pro-am and had a brief Stint in the I.B.L. with the Richmond Rhythm. In 1999,he was in camp with the golden State Warriors. Hasan's professional basketball career ended in 2002 due to a devastating knee injury.

Hasan played college basketball at San Jose City College where he received his degree and later played at Western Oregon University.  Hasan also received his Bachelors in Ethnic Studies from Cal State East Bay.

Hasan attended St. Joseph high school and played alongside future hall of Former Jason Kidd on the New York Knicks and current coach of the Bucks. Going into his junior season, he was voted M.V.P at the Univ. of Cal Berkley annual Summer basketball camp.

His career has been instrumental in allowing him to obtain professional contacts internationally which enable him to be a great asset to the Academy. Hasan is currently the President and training at in the North Charlotte Area.
